Chabahar:

Chabahar was located in the southeastern of Iran and in the province of Sistan and Balouchestan, near the Tees village. It has 2500 years antiquity. The name of this city was Teez but after years, it was changed to Tees. The area of the Chabahar is 17155 Km2 and it has located near the Oman Sea and Indian Ocean. It limits to Iranshahr and Nikshahr from the north side, to Oman Sea from the south side, to Pakistan from the east side, to Kerman and Hormozgan from the west side. Chabahar port is centre of the small province and its area is 11 Km2. The areial distance of Chabahar to Tehran is 1456 Km and the territorial distance from Iranshahr to Kerman is 1961 Km. The distance of Chabahar port to the centre of province is 738 Km, and it has 300 Km water border in the Oman sea. Chabahar has 54912 populations, three cities named: Chabahr, Negoor and Konarak, four towns named: Konarak, Markazi, Pellan and Dashtiary and 10 villages named: Kahir, Zar Abad, Jahlian, Rambel Solleyman, Pirsohrab, Pellan, Tang, Negoor, Sand Mirsooban and Bahoo Kallat. The premier residents of Chabahar are Ballouch. The Ballouch people are from north area of Iran and they are very hard-worker, brave and religious. The weather of Chabahar is very hot in summer and moderate in winter. The rainy winds in summer and west winds in winter cause the scattered rains. The seasonal winds of Indian continent create a coldest port in summer and hottest port in winter in Chabahar. The maximum temperature of Chabahar is 34 degrees of centigrade and the minimum temperature is 10 degrees of centigrade. The temperature degree of Chabahar is the same as Miami port in Florida Island of America.

The Chabahar free zone:

The commercial- industrial zone of Chabahar in the east of the Chabahar's bay and north of the Chabahar's port was located in the territory with 14000 hectares. 10000 hectares of this area is specialized for industrial activities and 4000 hectares of that is specialized for business, transit, touristy and service activity. The commercial-industrial area of Chabahar has designed for a 20 years period (1991-2011). In the pre-step, the temporary construction of Chabahar was designed, in the first step (1996-1998), the commercial and an industrial activity was started. In the second step (1999-2003), commercial, industrial and touristy output was developed. In the third step (2003), the national and territorial influences such as beginning the activity of International University of Chabahar were improved. Chabahar has been divided to nine parts known as status area.
